          that's what i pulled from my old egr valve.... the egr was on top of it plugged in.... never threw a code...



          all wired up thanks to wagalude....

              h23 head

              notice it does say VTACH! on the valve cover, and there isnt a flat piece on top of the cam caps.

              *edit* did you remeber to install a balance shaft retainer on the balance shaft? if no, then you better do it before you put the engine in.

                its the auto ten. and its everything off the old block.... and its a h22 crank...

                        doesnt matter if its the auto tensioner, still needs a balance shaft retainer, or else the seal will walk out and all the hard work will go down the drain, just trying to save your motors life. The part is only 4 bucks.

                            you mean the little peice that goes over the balance shaft seal? yea thats on there.... i saw the topic when we were taking the balance shafts out of the old motor actually.

                            umm.... possiby pics of it in the car today... but only 2 motor mounts are in... and for anybody doing a 5 speed swap... YES YOU DO NEED A NEW MOUNT ON THE TRANS SIDE....


                            edit: shadetree man i'll drive it up to newberry when i get this sucker running.... gotta put some miles on it man!
