    My new grill (progress pics)

    I started to want to buy a G-square , but decided to make one instead.. its not exactly the same but its coming along.


    what it looked like when i started.



    then theres the hole..and i cut out the innards



    after some j&B weld and a file and sandpaper.













    now all i have to do is fourm a lipped out edge , fill the rest of the gaps , mesh it from behind , paint it seattle silver. stay tuned for more pics later

              was plated but had scratches and looked ugly on my car .. that was a package with cb7s in canada (gold)

                  nicely done

                  but I probably woulda used fiberglass and then bondo'd on top of that

                  I know jb weld is strong, but I don't know how it reacts to flexing and vibration

                  I'm in the middle of doing a diy chargespeed grille with my 92-93 grill (much harder because of the structure of the grille and amount of gaps to be filled)...talk about work

                      Well after some consideration I have decided to take a different approach so far its coming along I am aiming for something like this, well kind of.

                      this is what I have so far , not too bad need some more epoxy and resin to finish but she's coming (slowly)


                      You can see I removed most of the top front..



                      all I have to do is extend the bottom part and fill in the corners then patch up some gaps/holes
