a skid plate isnt going to save you too much.

it hangs lower..........however here's an idea.

have you seen the lower tie bars from the front on 94-97 accords?
you can use that to protect the back side and use the front cross member as your front support.

remember to make your support holes counter sunk and match with a hex head counter sunk bolt.

Trust me I know about that and ride heights limits same thing happened to a friend he tried to sue but no luck due to his drop, you could always raise it up and then go for the kill.
