yea I did my entire car like this too, you develop a 'knack' on how much to thin the paint and how to roll it. a lot of people will mess up on their first tries

I CANNOT believe you did that with sandjob and a roller!

Did you remove lights, bumper, etc???

Im assuming you used smaller brush(es) for the smaller spaces....

I only removed the front corner lights, there is no need to remove anything else.
I just used blue masking tape around the windows

And yes a small foam brush for tight spaces.

          Thats insane!

What about under the hood, door jams, under the trunk, etc?

well the car was originally black so I didn't have to do all that.

I would never try to roll the door jams or the engine bay or anything like that (too much work)

If you are on a budget, you could buy matching paint in a spray can and spray the door jams/engine bay/trunk with that and roll the outside

Or if you want everything to be perfect then the only way to do it is take the car apart and spray it with a spray gun

You should post up a complete list of tools/products used on your paint job.

I wonder if you could roll on some PPG clear or something like that. That shit would look hot!

I've been lazy but I want to do another coat or two in the spring and make it perfect, then ill buff and post pics.

I've rolled white, bright red, darker red, satin black, and gloss black. I think black is the hardest to do.

                          thanks

By the way, when it gets warmer, in the spring, I am thinking about rolling some type of clear coat on top and see what it will look like. Does anybody have any ideas about this?

haha yea, sanding sucks especially if you are a perfectionist.
you should post up some pictures when you are done!

btw, I found a garage to work on this car and I have been working on it 1-2hrs a day. I am working on the door jams and other places I didn't get with the roller.
I am also planning on wetsanding and rolling a few more coats in the next couple of weeks
So hopefully new pictures will be up sooner than I thought

im not doing the door jambs because i mixed my paint with the rustoleum gloss blue and gloss black and got it really close to the original cobalt blue color just without the pearl. I put my last coat on on friday and am letting it dry over the weekend ill probobably get to sanding tomorrow.
