I am definitely going to wetsand to get rid of as much orange peel as I can, then do another coat, and make a DIY on this.

diy would be great,this should be a section in the diys......diy roller paint jobs....it would help out lots of people,seriously we should make this happen.

How durable is this paint? Do you need to clearcoat it or are you going to? How does this paint hold up to the sun?

I know from personal experience that this paint is extremely durable. It can withstand harsh winters and salty roads. You can also throw rocks at it and it wont chip (I am talking about little rocks that hit the car on the highway)

It is not necessary to clear coat it, you can just buff the last coat and it will be pretty shiny. Obviously not as shiny as a professional paintjob, but pretty shiny.

It also holds up to the sun well. Just buff it once every couple years and it will look good.

hmm, did you get a 1/4 gallon can?

I mix the paint with mineral spirits in a separate container.

When mixed, it should be almost as thin as skim milk.

One 1/4 gallon can of rustoleum paint should be enough to do 8 coats on entire car.

Maybe you are talking about the smaller cans??
