some fun in the garage starting from last month

well, the suns out. its time to start modding the car agian.

so to start i redid my DIY grill, added some mesh & the accord badge



in the meantime i finally put my KYB struts in, aswell i got new 6.5'' type R component set in.(no pics)

next came painting my new front lip & re-painting the sideskirts from last year.



time for the summer hood aswell,




next came the tint, stuck with 35% all round to prevent any hassel from the 5-0



next, i had enough of my gross black pealing paint job on my center consol. did a little research online found that oven cleaner would take the stuff right off.......and that it did!! + a little elbow grease with a scotch bright pad.






and next will come the paint !! i cannnot wait.

haha, i sure wish this was all done prior to sunset

there was a few nights of sanding , other nights of scrubbing the panel, aswell a long afternoon of redoing the component too.

thats pretty freaking expensive. i had my sedan done 30% all around except windshield for 140+tax with no sale going on at the time. yours still looks good though, especially if it is worth it to you (i know it is to me, i love the way mine looks with it).

now get the quarters and that door done, and paint it. i want to see it when its done! what color are you getting it done in?

edit: i'm amazed that the oven cleaner did that good of a job and didnt eat the plastic! those pieces came out really clean, good job man
