Those minivans came stock with turbo engines...

oh really? yeah I was just kinda amazed at why a person would bring a minivan to that meet lol. But the guy said he swapped that engine in place of what was there. But it was funny, the car next to it, a Shelby Z 4 dr sedan, had that engine as well. I guess back then they were interchangable between most engine bays lol.

The basic engine design was common between pretty much all Chryslers of the time. They can be swapped in, but it was a factory option on those. You could also order it with a 5 speed manual, and stock, those things ran VERY quick for the day. Build them up a bit, and they will run 14's, 13's, 12's etc, depending on how much boost you make them swallow.

P.S. There used to be tons of Hondas that went, but they all got run out for being dumbasses, like usual.

Ray and I used to frequent, but once they started pushing Hondas out, we were guilty by association, and it no longer became worth it.
