SUSP: extended wheel stud install (off the car)

I am not responsible if you fcuk anything up and your wheel studs fall off and you die as a result of this..I did it this way and seem to have good luck with this method..if youre willing to try it, cool..onto the diy..



Tools / stuff needed

Extended wheel studs(i chose Blackworks)
hammer/mallet
work area
lugnut
impact wrench

thats basically it





I did this with my brakes off because I got some spare ones that I am going to be putting on next week hopefully and it was easier for me I believe.

up above you can compare the picture of the extended one versus the stock one..

Step one.removing old stud.

grab a big hammer and hammer it out.


should look like this after its out.

do that for all 4 wheel studs.



Step 2. installing extended studs.




insert them from the back and grab your lugnut and your impact wrench and go at it..they will not seat completely unless you have the strongest impact gun ever..but they will seat enough that you will be able to drive using them..

im gona finish instaling them once my brakes are on the car. and finish seating them properly..

once you do all 4 it should look like this




Step 3 Repeat



step 4 enjoy..

damn!!!!!! i got extended ones but there only 5 mm bigger than oem ones lol thoes are like two of mine put together by the way what wheeles did you get????????

i still havnt gotten any wheels atm..and I want ITR's, but i can only dream..lol
