INT: CUT/WELD Short Shifter

No cali I am from IA and I on' think they are even holding the meet tomorrow because it is gonna rain there. Yeah man hit me up at the next meet then and you can check it out. The only bad part is is that if I want to get rid of my accord I CAN'T get my knob off now LOL

BSTEDCB7 i have a question.. with it incredibly short like that( i kinda wanna have one that short sometimes) is it hard to shift, like does it require more strength in the shift?

just wondering, because one of my friends had a fast ass civic hatch and he also had a shifter that was barely there on top of it being a short throw shifter, and i was suprised when i had to muscle through the gears

no probs on the shift whatsoever still goes through the gears smooth.

i did the cut and weld.. but i didnt do it as low as bstdcb7.. cuz i know how it feels.. i tried draggin with my shifter that low before i welded it.. man its hard cuz of tha counsel that surrounds the shifter *especially gettin into 2nd*. it gets in the way.. i took off a good inch n a half n welded the cut pieces now it feels alot better.. NOTE the throw isnt shorter..its just mind tricks..

i wouldnt mind it that low if our interior had a set up like.. supras n eclipses.. something where the shift assebly itself is more higher like a cockpit system

well cutting the shifter like this DOES make your hand travel less distance=faster so it must do something man
