    INT: Racing Seats Mounting

For those of you who desperately want to mount racing seats in your car with custom brackets ive done the research for you with no hassle. Since people on here are to lazy to help me do the research i was up all night lookin for this shit cause im about to install some myself enjoy http://homepage.mac.com/owen_the_soy...toAlbum14.html

    Quick explanation :
bolt stock seat sliders onto floor
use aluminium flat bar and bolt it across the stock seat rails
bolt the new seat to the horizontal bars

    "closeup of bar in front"

    "closeup of inside rail"

    "closeup of rear outside rail"

    "seat mounted"

    "underneath"

great find! but how do you remove the stock sliders off from the stock seats? i heard it was welded on there but i may be wrong. once the stock sliders are off, follow the rest of this DIY. bucket seats !

ill be selling mine soon. my racing seats are taller then normal and i dont want the guy to cut my brackets down so im going to sell them and buy my friends sparcos. it sucks because oem is the best and they are so sturdy. he even welded the seatbelt brackets and female piece on too.

I shold have added this to my post earlier...
I personally don't like the fact that they used aluminum. I'd feel MUCH safer with some cast iron in it's place.

With the 4 bolts that go through the bar into the bottom of the seat.
(Last picture in the OP) Most seats already have threaded holes in them.
