INT: CL leather seats for the CB coupe

this is for the cb to cl interior
ATT this is only for the coupe, the wiring for the electric seats applies all
also for main power to the seats i used 8ga wire, u can also use 16ga (its what comes out of the seat)

    THE REAR SEATS FIT SNUG
ATT: THEY DO NOT BOLT ON I REPEAT THEY DO NOT BOLT ON
(if u feel that u dont feel comfortable with the seats fitting snug stop reading and continue being a pussi

    tools needed:

basic 50pc autozone set will work
leather seats from 97-99 acura CL (2.3 seats change (no power recliner))
    pigtails for the seat
    grinder
    black tape
    electrical connectors
    power spliter
    inline fuse
    4-8ga wire
6 pack of ur favorite beer

    step 1: remove all seats
    this is important

step 2: locate a source of power
    this is also important
and trace it to the drivers seat
(i have the batt in the back so i used the splitter and ran the 8ga wire under the seat

    step 3: have a BEER
like me u should already be on ur 3rd beer

step 4: firgure out the harness

    ur welcome

    note:
heated seats u can use power from that same source, and use ur own switch
also the door switch wire, goes to ur door open and close switch (the seat wont move if the door is open (BS)
heated seat option is not what u think, it will only warm up to seat to 72deg (tried on a few seats)

step 5: remove the seat belt plug
u can use the OEM male plug coming out from the car

step 6: get the plug ready for install

    step 7: beer
    self-explanatory

step 8: install both front seats
    3 holes with fit perfectly
the one closest to the center console will take some force

step 9: remove hangers from CL seat
the way these seats and hung to the CL are by hangers
they get in the way, and prevent the seat from being flush w the rest
also remove the plastic that covers the rear seat latch

step 10: go buy more beer
this could take from 5 to 15mins 30 mins (if u get pulled over)

step 11: use the hangers on the bottom part of the seat, they'll fit right in with the OEM holes

    step 12: put everything back
in the rear seats always set the bottom one first, then the top part (u'll understand why)

    step 13: enjoy

aint nothing better drinking beer and playing with ur NEW ELECTRIC SEAT

Good jobThey look really nice, but I hardly think calling people pussies if they want the back seat to be secure is going to go over well. I've got kids that I want to be safe, it doesn't make me a pussy. If I can find a set of CL leather in good shape, I'll make them bolt down.

And if you get pulled over after having all those beers? More than a 30 minute delay in your night. Trust me.
Next project, maybe you can clean up that amp install?

unless ur going 70+mph and try to stop hard, they wont lift
plus with people in the back makes the seat stay in a braking emergency

the reason i call people like that is: IF ITS NOT BOLT-ON some people wont do it

            its a 17 year-old car, reality check

the bottom seat hangers fit the CB holes
the top part, both rear panels hold the seat snug
