Does blackhousing the headlights take away any of you lighting at night?
no it doesn't it actually focuses it a bit more since the light doesn't reflect off the sides. All you have to do is make sure you don't blackout everything, the rear reflector is the most important reflector, since that projects the light forward.
The sides and top and bottom of the headlight aren't important at all. You can even blackhouse the bulb reflector, the part that screws in w/ a phillips head for the stealthy look.
