      Alright, thanks.

      Back to headlights.

So if you use silicone to seal the headlights when you're done, do you still need to put it in the oven to cure? What about if you need to open the headlights again, say you wanna do a retrofit, can you just slice the sealant with a cutter to open it?

        DO NOT PUT SILICONNEEEEEEEE

if u do say bye bye to them u'll never be able to open them again
also silicone is a messy SOB

        heat it up
        pry it open
        paint it
put the housing an glass together
and put them in the oven
        one they heat up
        press them 2gether
        and
while hot put the chrome clipss

Yes you can black out your corners. Just use a lot of patience when opening them. And I do mean LOTS!!!!

Here's some Pics of a 2007 Accord I did. Tell me what you think.

                  One last thing...

Okay, so NO silicone. Blackhouse corners=yes.

Last question: Once you heat up your headlights, do you get any sort of fumes or odors coming out from it? This is very important to me coz my wife's got asthma.

                  Thanks.

yeah the glue that honda uses kinda smells a bit funky. I don't think there's anyway to avoid that smell. i don't know if its toxic or not. I didn't die lol.

                        Nice writeup!

I'm gonna grab a set of headlights from the junkyard and do this soon. I love the way the CB headlights look black housed.

Then the DIY bug bit me again and I did a set for a friend and after pulling the housings out of the oven (after applying the black paint), I just left the masking tape on there and applied the yellow then. I even did a blue and yellow set; all red (Don't Ask) set and red yellow.

Just use a sweeping motion and try not to put it on too thick. Then heat cure it the oven.
hey any pics of the blue highs??! i would like them better then yellow.. jw tho
