EXT: Painting Your Windshield Wiper Arms

    i did this right when i bought the car, used model paint and an airbrush. it worked pretty well. i just took the wipers off. also, when doing this, dont forget to rotate the arm at the hinged joint to bring the wipers about 45* off the window. the arms have lock inside of them to keep the arms on, and this is how you open the lock. i wouldnt advise using a claw hammer like was posted above.

        Update on the paint. It wont last through the rain . Well here we go again i guess. Time to break out the sunglasses
        No longer working on the cb. To much time and money has been put into it. Check my for sale thread where the whole car will be parted out.

          that's wierd, mine has lasted for almost 3 years.
          and I live in Vancouver, where it rains practically 2/3's of the year.

                Excellent DIY. Improved the looks of my wiper arms 100%.
                After 17 years and 208K miles, I'm not "tuning" my CB7, I'm "restoring" a CLASSIC.
