EXT: Not getting your antenna ripped off in a carwash DYI

this may sound stupid but how do u go about aking out the trim

Are you talking about where I mounted my switch?

no i know to how to that how do u get the trim off that covers the power anttena in the trunk

First you have to take off the middle piece of trim where the trunk latch is.

Then pop the cover off for the tail light and remove the 4 10mm nuts (you'll need a deepwell socket).

Once the 4 10mm nuts are out, remove that whole plastic panel. Then you should be able to manuver the plastic panel that covers the antenna motor enough to where you will be able to splice in wire and run it up front
