well this is for the people that dont like the factory hood props, for these are known to get in the way when ur working in the middle of the engine bay, epecialy when the dont have the rubbers at each end the tend to slip and it gets annoying when the hood falls in ur head
tools needed:
1 10mm wrench
2 pair of 92' acura legend hood props (got mine for 6 bucks)
3 tap and die set
4 drill and bit
5 12mm open wrench
first step: drill and tap a hole in the middle of the hanger and screw in the pivoting part of the shock, and use the 12mm wrench to tighten it
second step: use a 10mm wrench and unscrew, the the middle fender bolt,
third step: put the bracket part of the shock where the hole is and screw the bolt back up
fourth step: repeat and enjoy
the hood closes just fine, didnt have no interventions with the hood, shock, and engine bay
