Just did mine this morning. I thought I didn't tap the hole that well but it was just the bolt ran out of threads towards the head. I fixed the problem by adding a lock washer. I love em'
Bump for thread winning-ness, and to post mine! Thanks, PR_CB7! Got the shocks new off eBay, just need to cut part of the fender lip in the bay so the hood sits flush. Still debating whether or not to mount them in the "high" position, these suckers really launch that hood if you're not paying attention!

I paid $20 for my Legend struts from a junk yard, I was lucky to find some that still actually held up that HEAVY A$$ Legend hood! Something to consider, even weakened old Legend struts should work fine. If you install the struts to hold the hood almost vertically when lifted then there is really very little to no stress on the struts as the hood WILL stand vertically on its own.
