      here are a fe i have painted.. people around here or on ebay pay me $50- $120.00 to paint there cover for them.. hope you enjoy the pics.. i am also open for more buisness if you want yours painted.

        Has anyone painted one like that? I think its prety tyte. nice write up. If my VC was in bad condition i probably would do the same.

          Yea thats not hard to do. It requires you to paint the base coat let that fully bake/dry. Mask off whatever design you want and go at it with a different color. It just takes more work. All the stuff I bought cost me like 20 bucks lol. My shit was cheap ha.

            I've been contemplating about doing this in the near future but with either red or black wrinkle paint. Is the application process still the same?

              Yea I dont think you need primer for wrinkle paint but I could be wrong. I know you need to at least scuff up the surface and stuff. You do not have to sand. That is the process you ignore so you can get that "wrinkle" look. Also VHT sells that paint might wanna see if they recommend a primer for adhesion.

                  Were can i get VHT paint so i can do a wrinkle red? I want to do this on my strut bar.

                    nice valve cover! now wash the rest of the bay hehe. i'm in the process of doing mine also however i shaved the letters off.
