ENG: Power-steering Removal - Line Looping

i did something like this before but i didnt go thru all of that i have and had a 5 speed. what i did was loop the lines at my trans cuz sumhow the power steering goes thru the trans and goes back out thhe trans. i guess for the speed or steering sensor or sumthin like that but i looped it at the trans and it was a lil difficult at 1st but it got easier. has anyone tried this ?

worked fine. but i don't have the car anymore. so
some guys over a accordinglydone did it and they liked it.

no. the grease is in there just to keep it from locking up down the road.
just make sure the grease isn't to thick. i used lithium grease

so after you take out the PS pump and lines and all, you just plug the holes up? what did you use to plug them up and wouldnt it be better to put PS fluid back into the rack before you plug the holes up?

jb weld. there are 4 lines that go into the rack. screw them out, cut the tubes off and fill the tube ends with jb weld. screw them back in(after you fill the rack).

All i did was pull off the ps pump and the belt. All the lines are still there. Nothings going to get messed up on my car will it? I want to pull the rest of the lines but i havent seen a DIY for cb's yet so i dont really know what exactly im supposed to be looping or pluggin up.

yea i've heard just fill it with lilithm grease then just JB weld the holes and you will be good im doing it this weekend i'll take some pictures

i wouldn't jb weld the holes..... just the tube ends. you mite want to refresh the grease in a year are two.
