ENG: Cold Air Intake Install

i bought a weapon r short ram intake and it had a smaller hookup to reconect the hose that is capped. the weapon r is amazing though i bought a regular cone filter and coud tell a big difference between that and the weapon r filter but im saving up for an ARC induction box

cai ftw. i removed the lower 1/2 of my intake last time i did some work on my car. drove it that way for a month. now i have my cai back on, difference is night and day. with sri my take offs were better, but the top end sucks! with cai the top end is beautiful.

and the pipe being longer doesnt help it, its actualyl best to have a short pipe, less resistance, more flow. BUT the reason why cai is better is its pulling colder denser air into your motor. colder air = less space = more power. short ram does work great, but once that tube gets hot from your motor, your just sucking in hot ass air into your motor.

and those of you with cai, get a bypass valve! its beautiful, mine saved my car last week 2 different times.
