Not good to do that, it will slowly kill your car.

ok i know i already asked this but i did capped it off...well i didnt have a cap so i just cut the vacume line and have a lil bit left and i plugged it up with a screw and made sure it wouldn't come lose or it'd suck it in, and i noticed it idled the same and all but the car felt a lil weaker...did i do something wrong?

I noticed back when I had a vacuum leak that it seemed to have more torque, but it threw the idle off. I prefer a car that idles right.

ok when I got my car in july and installed the intake the big hose went on fine but the little one wouldnt reach so I added an extra hose, also after adding the intake my rpms going 100 kmh went from 3000 to 2800, the honda dealer said it must be a vaccum leak, am I spos to cap that line that I drew on?

Hmmm I...can't...tell...what the hell is going on there, the pic is too low res...let me find a pic from my car

Ok, now let me explain my current setup (which differs from that last pic). I decided that blue filter seen there on the pipe was not helping because it was sucking in hot engine air. So I bought a suitably sized cap and capped it off.

Now let's look at that first pic, the hose attached to the long thin plastic tube on the back of the plenum that goes to the air boost valve (I believe it's called, its located on the far right side of the plenum) That hose has a piece of foam stuffed in it, so it just breathes open air, as suggested by the AEM installation instructions.

And let me also say that I would cap them both off (both of the nipples you circled there) and put a little filter on the valve cover.

If that hose you drew a line on is going to the air boost valve, I would do like mine...have an open hose with a little piece of foam only for the sake of keeping out particles.

Okay last thing I swear, look at my first pic. See how that nipple at the plenum (by the throttle body) is capped off? Your's still has a hose attached but where is it going? It just seems to disappear down towards the firewall. Is it possible that line is just hanging open? (therefore causing a vacuum leak)

ok I went and fixed it, the box with the vaccum lines and sensoer was still connected, I took all that apart, I capped the nipple that it led to and I put a little peace of sponge in the line leading to the base of the one I have drawn on , granted its freezing rain outside its 12:30 am and I did it, I always work on the car at inapropreate times

Now it just needs a test drive to verify its working well.

I managed to make the hole for my CAI in the most ghetto way ever: drilling enough holes to be able to hammer through the metal. Extremely ghetto, but it worked. Take it easy!

they recommend a piece of foam, I suppose some cotton would work as long as its not packed too tight

I have just recently installed a short ram, when i looked the middle vacuum port had already been capped off. So that means I have two of the three vacuum ports capped off. My ride is an AUS version, and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that? - and by looking at the photos where the middle one goes is different to what is in my car. Will post pic soon.

                            Thanks.

From looking at my picture it looks like it leads to the emissions box (i think its known as that).

and as for accordlx, yeah its prob your throttle cable. Can you get a better, brighter picture of it for us to examine?

try refitting your intake.. my guess would be that the throttl cable should not be bent like that..
