The coolant lines are the biggest pain to me. But with the f22 and h23 diagrams next to each other, its not too hard. I've done this twice now. As long as you don't have to remove the lower IM it's not such a bad job.
on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.
the f22 parts are smaller and shorter. if you want less power then by all means. but you will be better off doing the whole swap, plus like said before you can clean the runners and the egr really good with it off.

the f22 runners are longer...improving top end preformance. not by much thou
i didn't really experience the "meaner" sound though, but i am going to upgrade to a larger 3" intake filter and piping pretty soon since i'd probably benefit from that w/ this swap. but torque for sure i do feel

The runners are about the same diameter. And theoretically, shorter is better for top end power, not longer.
Also, the runner lengths and sizes are so close to each other, there probably is almost no difference between the two.
So one is a feasible avenue for people who want a slightly easier route, and the other is for people who don't.
If you already have an A6, with the ease of this swap, it would probably be silly to swap the whole thing. It isn't like you are going to get 50 more HP.
my car has never had a problem with low RPM response. Having the IAB plate in without the valves just simply didnt make the power that taking out the IAB plate did.
ask Jdogg and Jeff Evans, they will agree with me as they have both dyno tested it.
