ok guys I need help here, I figured my rear mount neede to be replaced because, there was some idle vibration in gear, it wasnt bad, but I finaly got it reaplcent by a mechanic of mine we didnt have a hoist so it did it by removing the intake manifold, it took 5 and a half hours and everything worked find exept now theres MORE vibration in gear, I pulled the vaccum line leading to the solinoid and there was no difference in the vibration but when its idleing and I rev it past 900rpm I can hear the mount change, so im pretty sure its working. PLEASE HELP ME

You can see the lever move visually. When you touch the throttle it will go past 900 and you can see it move. Once it comes back down, the lever moves back and you can hear it as well.

If everything else works, all I can blame is the mount. Was it new, oem, or aftermarket. Mine is aftermarket and it works fine.

If anyone knows where I can find another copy of that Honda TSB, I would be most appreciative. The link is dead, the pdf is MIA, and I had it saved on an old drive that went FUBAR. I've been searching for days to find another copy with no luck.

Yes the EXs came with the auto tranny mount. Only the LX and DX came with the 5-speed mount.

Ok I got a question about these mounts too. My car is a 91 LX/EX according to the title. It has a 5 speed in it.

I need to change mounts but my parts store didnt have a manual mount in stock so I bought the Auto mount since I felt they gave me a good price on it.

I am going to bring my car to my uncles shop hopefully next week to put new shocks/struts in and upper control arms/ball joints/tie rods etc.. I was hoping to do mounts at the same time.

Is this mount going to bolt up in my car right? The vacume isnt a big deal to me as I can just tee off another line somewhere but somebody said the holes dont line up?

You will need the auto BRACKET as well.

The bracket that goes from the motor to the mount? If thats the case i will just order a manual one.

yes the bracket that mounts to the back of the block/tranny and sits over the rear mount. if u use the auto one u need the auto bracket that goes with it. why buy the auto mount? those are poop.

There are three different mounts, and consequently, three different brackets.

As for why I bought an auto one? I got a good deal on it.

Where is a good place to buy a new manual one from? Are they cheaper? I will trade this brand new auto one for a manual one if somebody has a new manual one laying around.
