how to fix a broke fuel line.

warning do not use the compessin fitting for ur brakelines!

ok so some of u know that i snaped a steel fuel line when i was changing my fuel pump.it snaped because the rust rusted the line to the fitting most of u will have this problem.
1 st.go to ur local parts store and get these things.
    1. 5/16 domestic steel brake line.the 1 with the ends flared already.
    2. a 5/16 doubble compression unifitting. no re flaring required.looks like this

    tools needed.
    1.14 mm wrench
    1.15 mm wrench
    1.13mm wrench
    super small pipe cutter
    10mm socket
    a new razor blade.
    5/16 drill bit and drill
    small pipe bender
    measure tape

ok cut the new 5/16 line at a end to take the flare off to get the other fittings off.
next undo the old break line banjo fitting garentied it will break the old line.
take the old fitting and put it in a vice.start at the flared end and drill the old line out make sure u get all the line out.test fit on the new line throw some never seize on the flared end so no future rust happens.
take the 3 10mm bolts off the thing that holds the lines in place.just follow the lines and u will find them.1st bracket has 1 bolt.the farther one has 2 bolts.

now cut off with the razor blade the rubber covering of the gas line .now use the pipe cutter and cut at dezired lenghth just make sure its not more then the line u have.
now use ur pipe bender and try to match the bends of the old line.oo also make sure that the old banjo fitting is at the flared end befor u start bending the line.
now that ur pipe is bent to factory specs.take that compression fitting and put it on the old gas line and tighten it,its the 13mm wrench for the middle and a 15mm wrench for the fitting.
now take ur new line just snug it in its old home and measure to the compression fitting.mark and cut the new line to the match the compression fitting.put the fitting and ring on and just leave it lose so u can move the line freely.tightin the banjo fitting first with the 14mm wrench.then tighten the compressin fitting and let ur fuel pump prime 2wice and ur done.
got to get a done pic when the sun comes up..

let me kno how u guys like it.
