OK so I had an issue awhile back with my motor when the MIL (or Check Engine Light) came on. I had to stop at a gas station and bum a paper clip from a local gas station in Mass.
While jumping the terminal...I remembered that one of my instructors had an OBD I scan tool from Honda that also doubled as a key chain...unfortunately for me Honda had that one part on back order and at a price of $5.00 I wasn't about to waste the $$.
And since I hated using paper clips I decided to make one for myself.
So I said to myself why waste $5 when you can do it yourself for free with some spare parts?
Basically you can use either:
1. Female plug from a power seat
2. Female plug from a tweeter.
Since I had my drivers seat just collecting dust in the basement I cut the harness and looped the wire into the plug.
In the end it should look something like this.
Makes a cool keychain as well. Be sure that when you loop the other wire install a new metal pin so it locks into the terminal.
:edit:
This will work on 90-95 Hondas except for the 1995 Accord V6 since it was the first in Honda's line up to utilize OBD II status.
