ENG: Oil Catch Can (a different method)

I hope people realize that the oil catch can ideas presented in this thread are for stock-like applications. Anything performance related or turbo making considerable power, should use a oil catch can breather setup, not an enclosed in-line filter system and no need to continue the flow into the intake manifold/intake piping, straight dump it from the PCV and crankcase breather ports into a catch can with enough breathing elements that it does not pressurize the crankcase.

just read through all of the pages.
Ive been reading up on this a little, and i might just do it if i can make it look nice in my engine bay, otherwise i honestly dont see how its necessary since stock f22s go on forever, even with the "dangerous" oil in the intake.
WHat do you guys do for seafoam?, also do you guys just dump the oil out or what?

I didn't carry it over to my new accord, I decided to leave it stock. I got tired of having to remember to drain the oil.
And for seafoam I do half in the brake booster line, and half in the tank. If I actually want to do the oil, I do it in thirds. If you do the oil, plan to change it within a week or about 100 miles. It makes it very dark. It's been discussed so I won't go into detail.

no, i dont wanna ask another seafoam question, I know how to do it, and its been asked a billion times and all auto forums.
My question is for you guys that did this and seafoam through your PCV valve, do you just disconnect the hose from the catch can to the intake and let it suck from there?

oh, no I do it through the brake booster line, pcv would work too, if the hose is big enough to stick a funnel in. Don't stick the hose into the bottle, that would probably eff things up badly.

right, so what I do is use a funnel and pour it slowly so it only gets a bit at a time, and you can hear it spray inside, it sounds just like the thing at the dentist that removes your spit

13. cut another piece of hose to from the outlet of the air/water tank to the intake manifold nipple where the pcv hose thing used to attach to.
hey fellows, im talkin about this pic, why is there 2 oil catch canisters, do they work the same way just in 2 different valve connections?
(its the last pic, it may not show in my post, but its the last of 3 pics for description 13, theres 2 oil catch canisters)671menace

Question....
Question: Ever since I purchased my CB7, which has well over 200k on it, upon the car warming up only when I come to a stop I notice buring oil vapor smell in the cabin. I pop the hood and find the line coming off the valve cover to the throttle body area is soaked in oil, the end of my air intake is soaked in oil, and there is significant oil buildup around the outside of of my throttle body, to the point I'm guessing it's dripping onto my exhaust and the vapors are being pulled into the cabin. Only noticable on stopping after warming up though so if I put a catch can on this line instead of the pcv line will I possibly eliminate my problem? I can't figure out why there is so much oil coming through this line but I would love to remedy the issue and this diy is the perfect answer. Whatcha guys think?i roll my wagon slo, f22b style...
