EXT: Making Intermittent Wipers Variable Speed

I tired this again today same deal smokes right at the variable ring. Unplugged it quickly. Switched the wires didn't change. What an I doing wrong?

Soldered it on the back instead of adding pins because I dont have any, and don't want to take off the fuse panel

LOL you're soldering to the wrong wires

Solder to where the green connector is, not that one on the back.

Fuss me! So then I want the two in the top right corner farthest on the right being 7?


Edit: looking at the pictures on page 1.... That makes sence but it's hard to see which two pins because of the angle

so is this showing the top one and the one diagonally under it? which ones 6 top or bottom?

If you look really closely at i think the male end of the connector it says pin numbers

I remember i had such a pain in the ass installing this mod, i had to rewire it like 3 times before it worked.

ok i got it. soldered wires to the back of these pins, 50/50 chance of getting it right when you hook up to the harness

I'm so confused about how to wire this up.. Do i have to add the wire and relay for a 9293 or just 9091?? And then where does the black wire go and what does the blue and purple wires do? Sorry, i'm very new to electrical and learning.. I have both an A11 and A12 box..
