yeah guys so for the past 2 months ive been smelling gas around my car, and lately ive noticed gas on the floor of my driveway. so i took it to work (mr lube) and went underneath to check it out. apparently a fitting or the line to the fitting isnt.....fitting? either that or the fitting is so rusted out that the gas just pours out. i took some pics with my cellphone, maybe some of you can make it out. any advice, tips, name of the part, your own experience with this problem are very welcome. basically im screwed because i need my car to get to school and work. this repair has a 500 dollar ceiling. thanks in advance guys

The best thing to do is drop the tank and you will get to the lines, But thats if you want to completely replace the line.
That line that I see this is rusted and leaking can be fixed. What you want to do is cut the rusted part off with a tubing cutter and get a pre bent fuel line hose if it needs it and use some hose clamp to make it tight.

I had the same type of problem with my 90 as well.
All the road salt and stuff hit right where the lines
bend eventually rusting right through.
The piece that was leaking on mine was the main feed line
that goes from the side of the tank all the way under the car
to the engine bay and into the fuel filter. Huge pain in the ass since
the damn thing is so long and was very hard to manouver
the line past all the crap that was in the way on the firewall.
I bought a brand new one since all the ones at the wreckers
were rusted. Cost roughly $60. Part number 17700-SM4-A31
#10 in the pic below.
The other line that was in that corner was the one coming down
from (what I think is) the fuel pump. That one would have required me to
disconnect all the lines and drop the tank. That piece is much shorter
but over double the price (about $120). From your pic, it looks like
this is the part that you will need to change. Part number 17707-SM4-A31
#24 in the pic below.
If you do the repairs yourself, you should be able to fix it for
way less than $500. I would take a very good look at all the lines
down there and change all the ones that are badly rusted.
Some of the connections may be rusted together making it
almost impossible to reuse. A set of box wrenches would
make removal a bit easier. Good luck.

^ holy chit. thanks a lot man, you just saved my life! im assuming you ordered these parts straight from honda? i got a buddy that works in the parts department at a dealership so hopefully i can get this going ASAP. i dont think id be able to do it myself cause i dont have access to a lift or good tools, im only an APPRENTICE mechanic after all.
THIS CAR DOES NOT BELONG TO ME SO STOP GIVING ME COMPLIMENTS!! although it is quite nice....
