how do you take out the rotor from the disk bakes in the front?

Yes you do. It's not that hard just time consuming.
There's allot involved though are you sure you are up to it? I could give you directions but they're pretty long, I don't want to type them for nothing. It's not easy. You are going to need a few tools that not everyone has for example a ball joint seperator.

Alright well here's a fast and basic walk threw.
- Remove the tire (duhhh)
- Remove the two 17mm bolts holding the Caliper bracket to the Knuckle.
- Remove the CV Axles nut
- Remove the 17mm nut and bolt holding the wishbone to the lower control arm.
- Remove the 14mm bolt securing the sturt to the wishbone.
- Remove the wishbone (use a pry to give you leverage and lover the control arms so you can work the fork out, be careful not to screw up the CV joint boot).
- Remove the cotter pin on the lower ball joint.
- Remove the 17mm castle nut on the lower ball joint.
- Seperate the lower ball joint.
- Pick the knuckle up and turn it away and towards the rear of the car, after the CV axle is out of the knuckle it will be very easy.
- Backout the 4 12 sided 10mm bolts securing the bearing/hub/rotor assembly to the knuckle, Do not remove them just back them out evenly.
- Soak the seem with PB blast, Let it soak, take a break, eat something.
- Using a center punch evenly hit every screw ( the 12 sided 10mm) until the bearing assembly starts to work it's way out of the knuckle. This is going to take a long time, be patient. Using a 3 lb. slegde will make it move a little faster.
- After you have the assembly off the car then remove the four 14mm bolts that hold the rotor to the hub and there you are you removed the rotor.
That's about it. It's a pain in the ass.

we should help him wiht some pics...after a while it is a breeze...i did mine in like 40 minutes....
hehe when u take out the hub..make sure u align it first...it will only go out one way.
its nice to have a air gun handy for this job.
you know what helped me, a haynes manual.What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

34mm and my digi cam died so I can't take any pix. Yeah I've become quite profetient at removing the rotors. I had to change three studs on the passenger side front the other day that Tire Kingdom destroyed and I did it in about 45mins.
But for someones first time doing it I can see it taking two hours a side.

not trying to sound like an @$$ but if you're thinking about working on a car, you serious should consider buying yourself a service manual? much easier than to ask for scans of it online. it's a great investment for those who want to take a crack under the hood, or anywhere else on the car for that matter.Once upon a time I took a joyride in a Huayra...
