i have an oil leak and i am scared it may be my head gasket. it is a pretty significant leak because after i drive it, it leaves a medium size pool of oil in my parking spot. i can also smell it because it is dripping onto the exhaust near the o2 sensor. i just replaced my lower spark plug seals but i don't think this had anything to do with it. here is a pic. this is the rear driver's side corner of the head. how much should this cost to fix, and what all needs to be done besides replacing the gasket? i don't think i will have the car too much longer, so i really want to know how much i should expect to pay for just a head gasket replacement.

i was actually thinking of the camseals as a possibility. i will pull the cover maybe tomorrow. i was thinking, maybe since i replaced the lower spark plugs seals, and they were leaking, that i may have diverted the oil to leak somewhere else. it had always been leaking a little in this area, but never this bad.

it was the camseal. i pulled the valve cover and timing belt cover. the belt is very oily. i also pulled the rocker arm assembly and resealed that and sealed the camseal with liquid gasket. it actually stopped the leak. i do need to take it to the dealer to get the timing belt replaced along with the cam seal. it sucks though because i just had it done around 40k miles ago, but they didn't replace the cam seal.
p.s. is the oil sensor the small plug thingy that looks like it screws into the back of the engine above the oil filter approximately?
