Yes there is, the main difference is that, on the lefthand side, the M/T has an intermediate shaft and axle with the CV joints, to help prevent torque steer.
A/T LHS axle is a single shaft.

I think the right side axle is the same.
I know my parts car was an auto, and i used the pass. Axle on my 5 sp. No problems other than the boot tore, but im not sure if it woulda happened either way.

i second this. the right side is the same for both. i used my old auto drive axle on my auto to manual swap. i looked up the part numbers on a online parts site to verify and they were the same. the drivers side is an obvious difference. the auto is one long shaft. the 5spd is almost that length adding in the intermediate shaft.91 Ex CB9
