there's a lot of play on both of my windows, and it seems that the guide pin isn't holding the window down all the way. is there anyway to adjust this? or must i take off the door panel and work from there?

if you've got a coupe, there is one thing you can do. Look up Window Pin Kit in the DIY threads, a guy made a DIY on how to fix the rattling by replacing that black pin that holds the window in the tract. That solved my issue.

you could also try checking near the bottom of the window, the pin is just one of the supporting points, towards the bottom there is I think a piece of foam or maybe rubber that also supports the window. Chances are since our cars are ancient lol, that it has deteriorated to pieces.

which part number?
i just remembered, both sides of my doors do not have the sash cover thing that hides the 4 screws.
could that be leaving the gap in my windows?Last edited by b3nsonx; 01-08-2008, 11:05 PM.
