In my 93 CB7 EX the defrosters have one hell of a hard time. Do all old Accords have that or is mine just shot? It takes FOREVER to defrost the windshield and the rear ones...don't even THINK about the door windows!

i have tint on mine, it doesnt take long for it to defrost....when u take off tint i think u use a soap and water solution and a blade....my friend did it, very carefully...
is all of ur lines for ur defroster working or do u have like spots of defrosted window? What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

hey what's up, i'm from pittsburgh too. used to live in Gibsonia, a little northwest of that. then family moved to wexford. i'm here in Gainesville getting my education on though. but whey my car was up there, it would take FOREVER for the car to heat up in the winter.
i thought it was a wrong thermostat opening too soon or something. but whatever. it works eventually. i don't really think there is anything wrong with your defroster because that's how mine is too.

Yeah, a defroster is pretty important in Pennsylvania in fall! lol. Nope, mine is stock...no window mods at all. That lil line things all appear to work but my windshield is the same way.+ '93 Accord EX - CB7 - Frost White w/ Dark Blue = teh s0ld (ilikebigbutts)

How does your A/C work, and are you turning on the A/C along with the defroster? That is the combination that works the best, Heat to high and A/C on. It's also helpful to let the engine warm up a bit before turning on the heat and the fan, as the coolant will still be cold otherwise.Visit us at http://www.valleyspecialists.com for all of your Honda and Acura service needs!
