    sparkplug wire size

    i need some new sparkplug wires and im looking into some ngk's.
    but they come in 7 and 8 mm. what's the difference?

    Just get OEM? Its good for up to 400-500hp. If not juts buy the NGK blues. I do not recall them having certain widths to them.

      I measured OEM Sumitomo's , they're 7MM. Sumitomo's are as good as NGK's.

      You won't gain anything with oversized wires unles you are really pushing it to oblivion.

        i looked at it again and it was a different brand, but the wires looked like NGK ones
        they come in 7mm, so i guess i will get those.

          The difference is the size of the insulator.
          Are you creating enough spark energy to burst out of the insulator? No?
