    pcv valve tubing "squeezed"

ok going from the top of the f22 valve cover is a pcv valve and connected to that is a tube (rubber) that runs from the pcv valve to the programmed fuel injection system. anyways, for some reason today i was making my short ram intake a cold air intake and looked into the intake pipe after taking off the filter and found a pool of oil in my pipe! anyways, i just replaced the pcv valve and the tube and when i started the engine after putting the filter back on, i noticed that the tube that ran from the pcv valve to the injection system looked like a straw that you were sucking a thick milkshake through (a crease or a crimp in the middle of the tubeing) anyways, i was wondering if it was due to a clogged up valve cover interior or what the problem could be. please assist?

most likely the hose is collapsing due to age. i would just take your pcv valve to any auto parts store, tell them you need about a foot of hose that fits on there and replace the small hose.

    or buy it from dealer

I've never known a pcv hose to collapse, if it still is with a new hose I suspect you're using too weak of a tube, the walls must not be thick enough. Any fuel system/cooling system hosing should be fine.

Even plugging the end of the hose shouldn't be strong enough to collapse it.

where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

were the two parts new? sometimes if it isn't the right rubber i will do that.

the oil in the intake is normal is just the crankcase ventilation. to prevent that you can do a catchcan set up. search for it and you shall find something on it

yeah parts were new and the hose only squeezes when its at idle. when i rev it up the hose gets like a 1/3 the size bigger! its wierd???

Vacuum drops when you open the throttle so that makes sense. But it def sounds like your using the wrong strength tubing.

Use something like coolant system tubing, sounds like you've got a very thin walled tube.

i probably am. the guy who put it on when i put my new pcv valve in. accidentally split the stock tubing but it was getting cracked and everything else. but anyways in order to fix it he went to the back of the shop and got out some universal tubing that barely fit into the pcv valve and the injector system so i guess that sounds legitamite oh and when i turn the squeeze to pinch it and make it tubular again a sucking sound is comin through it. is that okay or do i need to take off the valve cover and clean in there. because when i replace it i looked in the stock pcv and the tubing and it was crammed full of junk...nasty.

                  Ehh

I think if you already have a new pcv valve and if it's the right one for your car, all you need is a proper tube and you'll be set in that dept. On to the next thing.

Yeah, make sure you're not using silicone tubing, that stuff is notorious for collapsing. If you're using vacuum hose, get rid of that too. I would go to a fuel line, the size is either 3/8" or 5/16", I can't remember.
