96 ITR wheels on 4th gen Accord

I have heard that you have to shave the caliper housing down a little bit in order to get the 4 lug ITR wheels to fit. I was just wondering if this was true or not b/c i have never heard that until my friend told me the other day that somebody had to do it. Does anybody know?

yes, a bit of the caliper will need to be shaved.

93accordex used to have those wheels on his car.

huy009 currently has them (unless he's changed wheels again, he's known to do that).

So will they not bolt up at all unless you shave the caliper housing down or did they just do it to be safe about it? Because there is a guy with 96 ITR's on his 5th gen accord and he didnt have to shave the caliper down, he just said it was a fingernail gap in between the wheel and the caliper so i was just wondering if it really has to be done or people just do it to be safe? Also, is there anymore posts about this on the forum anywhere, i tried searching and found nothing.

i dont think that it would be a difference front a 5th gen to a 4the gen front brakes let alone the suspension. cuz they are both the same shit. so there shouldnt be a problem with fitment
