Naw don't do no zipties man. If you are gonna go all out and get a civic dual core performance radiator, I would match it up with a performance slimline fan made for the civic. That way it will bolt onto the back and look more clean + give you a tad bit more clearance which you seem to be hungry for.

Wrap the AC/alternator belt you're using right now around the crankshaft pulley and alternator pulley and make a mark on the belt to see roughly how long of a belt you'll need.
Take that to a local Autozone or Kragen or w/e and ask them if they have a custom length belt with the proper number of grooves, and they should have you covered.
That's worked for me in the past, anyway.

I think you just asked why I want a radiator half the size of a regular civic radiator. If that's correct, you should actually read the post. I want one the SAME size as a civic radiator, and I want it to be dual core. So double the thickness.
Also, I already stated that I am considering it because it would be lighter, take up less room, and work just as well.

Well I didnt see you were not keeping AC if that was the plan ignore my statement with zip tieing to the condensor. You can go with a slim fan as mentioned prob flow more than the stock one also.

Wow... just wow.
To find a belt for your h22 without A/C: go to autozone, look up a 95 Prelude 2.2 DOHC VTEC. The computer will ask with or without A/C. Tell the guy you want it with no a/c. Problem solved.
Radiator: why would you want or need a half sized radiator if you are not boosting? OBD1 H22s run pretty hot to begin with, why would you want less cooling efficiency? It will work fine, but if you're not boosting theres no point in doing it. Once the swap is in, its not like you'll be swapping motor mounts, or headers every week. The extra room is really for no reason other then boost. If you are going to get rid of A/C, do this:
I took my condenser out and two 12" slim fans in FRONT of the radiator, where the condenser used to be, one hooked to a toggle switch inside the car, and the other hooked to the OEM temperature controlled fan switch.
I had a SHITLOAD of room after I did that swap, and my car cooled a lot better after. My only complaint with the setup is that the autozone fans are LOUD. I should have bought some better quality fans, but thats my own fault.

Your fan setup is pretty interesting, when do you use the toggle switch fan?
