Hi there, I change in this days the p/s pump because i tought it was dying because feels harder when turning the wheels, also was heard a weird sound when you turn the wheel, thats why I change the pump, but i Put a new one and the steering still a little harder, but when I put reverse it feel soft, just in parking, neutral and drive. also when acelerating I can heard the p/s noise like when you turn but it's at straigth. what could be that? rack and pinion? thanks I will hope some help.

You've got to bleed the lines to get all the air out of the system since you installed a new pump.
But yeah, I've driven a couple cb7's with mushy steering, and I don't like it either, but thats how its supposed to be I think. -
whats your PS fluid level? if its low, u need to topup and bleed the system.
