people act like counterweighted shifters are just "a thang".

4bidden is the best all around shifter by far. i've bought two and will buy a 3rd in a few months

this is where i bought mine and i loved it .. the best part i think i had ever bought for my car.

Accordwarrior had a neuspeed adapter on the car. Should be easy to put on by yourself. If you want a genuine/real short shifter you have to look into pspec and 4bidden or yeamans if he still makes them.

The Forbidden shifter is one of the best mods I have done to the car. Some modification is needed, but nothing serious, and it really is a good piece

I have a Pspec and wouldn't trade it for anything. It is extrememly similar to the Forbidden, only not adjustable. But, IMO it doesn't really need adjusted, but it would be nice for it to be there.

As far as durability of home depot stuff, I highly doubt it.

I once grabbed 3rd so hard, the cables popped the retaining clips off of the tranny, and I couldn't shift. Had it been a home depot shifter, I am certain it would have been the shifter that broke.

i had to do a bucket drop.....bolt the shift bucket under the shifter plate so the shifter wouldnt bang on the console.

did the same thing in my old cb7. shifter still held up fine though... HD racing for the win.
