    Rear seatbelt not returning

So the rear passenger side seatbelt got pulled out all the way and now it won't return. I don't know what it could be thats not working exactly. I pulled the pillar cover off and looked at the part where the belt winds up and it looks ok but its not winding back up. Any ideas?

There is a lock system if its not goin back its probably that or the device that takes the belt back doesnt work. Just bring it to honda. its lifetime warranty they should replace it.

So the jerks at the dealer said they won't touch it...buuuuuut if I want to buy a new one it will be $90. I was like you guys can't just fix it? Nope, they cannot fix it. You must buy a new one.. So I told them ok thanks I'll just go to the junkyard then. They proceded to giggle to eachother like little kids...

Another reason for the seat belt ot to return is that the spring is already out of it's place.

When mine went out , I messed with them I found out that the springs were out.

it should be warranty. it's a mechanical failure, not electrical.

ya the spring was messed up so I went back home and fixed that but then it wouldn't stop locking so I foundout why it was doing that. I know exactly whats wrong. Its a little red thing with like a gyroscope and it is missing a spring or somthin cuz it won't return and stays locked. So I took that lil peice there (I was pissed at this point) and the dumb chick at the parts counter told me you can't buy that peice and I can get the whole thing for $90. wtf? I know that already! Then she told me to not mess with the safty stuff on my car because if it didn't work right someone could fly through..(she pauses for like a minute) the front( pauses for another minute). Somebody could die!. end of story. yay
