    Act clutch disk thickness

When I got my 5-speed swap it came with an ACT clutch and pressure plate. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how thick the clutch disk is new so I can compare it to the one I have to see if I should use it. Its in good shape but if its already worn I will have to buy a new clutch disk.
    I need a 14b or 16g turbo!

if you got a act, most lickly its a state 1 or 2. DO NOT GET RID OF IT. its one of the best clutches out there.

even a stage 1 is enough. its thick, and you could adjust to where exactly it grips the flywheel.

What do you mean by adjustable? I know they are thick when new but this is a used clutch so I wanted to see what the actual thickness of the new clutch disk was so I can compare it to how much material is left on my clutch disk.

well a machine shop would know that. but ill find out for you how to adjust the pedal (clutch to flywheel grip). i helped out my buddy install a spec clutch on his h22 and the clutch grabed the flywheel 1/8 from the bottom of the pedal. he adjusted it to it grabs 1/4 of clutch pedal movement from the bottom.

sorry if i explained it to complicated or understanding, i could rewrite it in a easier way for you.

pedal play and clutch engagement are two different things.

The disk has about an 1/8th of an inch on each side and on one side there is about a little less than an 1/8th of an inch til the rivets and on the other side there is about a 1/16th of an inch.

dont know if this helps but a stock replacement clutch disc is .325" from side to side via dial calipers.
