Pull out the trans and put in the new how hard could it be? If every clutch job required removal of the engine everyone would be charging an arm and a leg. Common sense yes you can just pull the trans out.

because my tranny right now the 2nd is not going in after you go on 3rd

it will work fine if your accelerating..the sychros are messed up on it is what everyone is saying

what would ya recommend i do in the future ? tranny rebuild or new one ?

lets say umm you're doing the labor. then it would be better to rebuild it.
if you're not doing the labor, figure out whats going to be cheaper/easier, the price of a new tranny or someone to rebuild it for you.

just gear ratios. the usdm tranny has closer gears then the jdm tranny

Search for the transmission list. It's up here I had it about three weeks ago. Theres a sticker on the tranmission bell housing, right next to the timing acces port. It has a four character code (ie M2U4). That's the code for the transmission you have. Search for the list and match it up, OR figure out what you want. I was looking at a USDM H but decided to go with a 93 F LX trannie, silly mee.

Code on transmission...Obviously closer geared = faster accel and failure in top end.
