    auto h tranny

Started having probs with my tranny out of no where. I can manually shift it from 1 to 2 but d3 and 4 it doesnt want to engage. And it will sometimes seem to halfway grip a gear wen goin into d3 or d4

thats why people hate on me for manually shifting an auto.

you've either wore out your shifter connections or maybe your lock up solenoid is going faulty.

First things first, as always: Check fluid level, and check the condition of the fluid.

Fuilds fine. The car wont come out of second i saw that the kickdown arm a pin came out and i put a screw back threw it. But when u turn the car off and start it again it shifts fine then it will jus slip outta no where and keep slipping.

Possible torque converter wearing out. But I doubt it.

If it does not want to engage , shift solenoids are probably close to shut.

Check if they are contacted good. Also for oil contamination. If it's clean then replace the solenoids.

no it will not leak most likely your solenoid is fine just the rubber has gone bad.
3 10 mm bolts on both the solenoids and walla it's off the bottom one is tricky getting to. but ask some fellows on here if they have any available because those things are expensive
