    trouble pulling codes. Tried searching.

I get a CEL only when the car is driving. At first startup and idle, it does not have a CEL. Im trying to pull codes at this exact moment, and its just giving me a solid CEL.

does this mean my ECU is fucked??

    EDIT: EUR i have a 92 DX.

It may be a faulty ecu, and from the sounds of it, you have a faulty tcu as well. Let's hope this CB isn't just a pile of problems for you.

If you can hit up a junkyard and pull an ecu and tcu from a promising accord, or if any members are close to you, they may have some known good ones to test. I know I have a pt3 that I know works, and 2 pt6's that are iffy. In fact, one of my pt6's does that, the solid light instead of a CEL, but always seemed to run fine otherwise.

Now that I think about it, that particular ecu would display cels if you had one, but would stay blank if you didn't.

Now my 90 lx's pt3 had a light that could blink out codes on it, does yours have that also?

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

Also, according to the honda (helms) repair guide, a solid CEL, or code 0, indicates a faulty ecu.

                NO..NO..NO..

if you read ( lil_dc7's Thread from the beginning ) he was doing it with the car RUNNING..

do what SMseagren83 said ( the right way )

turn the key to ACC ( not start )...you dont start the car to check for codes

you put the paperclip in the blue plug....THEN turn the key to ACC! ( that will throw the trouble code of whats wrong )
92 LX. A6 with GUDE bullfrog Cam. M2S4 transmission..Gutted H23 intake mani. The rest you will just have to find out!

                  no i wasnt.... o.o'

I pull codes when the car is OFF and i turn the key to III(on the ignition) after i close the loop.

The car is not running when I close the loop, im saying, i dont get a CEL when the car is started and idling. The CEL only comes on when the car is moving. This is NOT when Im trying to pull codes....

EDIT: OOOH PSSSHHHFFTT when I say at this exact moment, I was in my driveway on my laptop inside the car. I was closing the loop at that exact moment of my post, not at the exact moment while the car is running.

                  my mistake

It should be at 2...III is start up. And could be just a temp code. Sometimes could be o2 sensor going out or something.

I turn the key past accessory, when all the idiot lights are on.
