    Loose Front end

I was driving with my uncle yesterday and i went over a bump and the car rattled and my uncle said it seems like my front end is loose what ever that means. He said it should rattle that much that when you take the suspention apart a couple of times you should replace stuff. But i want to know what all do i have to replace to correct this?

a rattle or clunking? check ur sway bar endlinks and bushings (the ones that mount to the subframe too)...they could be causing some noise.

gonna have to take a look at ur suspension and see if there is any play with the main susp parts. UCAs/LCAs/shocks(blown/leaky) etc etc.

    best of luck!

Get a manual or a friend that is somewhat mechanically inclined. Check all your front ball-joints (3 per side) and the sway bar end-links Sean mentioned. Also, check for fractured coil springs up front, do the corner bounce-test to check shocks.

If you still find nothing, make sure your front brakes that no parts are loose from previous jobs done half-a$$, etc.

only way to know what needs replacing is to check the parts that have been mentioned above.

we cant diagnose the exact problem on your car for you, just give you helpful tips/suggestions. sometimes it takes a lil initiative on your behalf.
