    1991 AUTOMATIC SEAT BELT(driver side)

    simple question;

    me and my buddy check both the motor and the cable again(i think )...Using a ground and power wire...as soon as power touch the plug(motor) the belt move fine back and forth...
    -but if i plug it back in...not working is the problem
    (YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN) its kind of hard to explain ...

    it seem like there no sensor or something to tell it to move..
    -theres a guy that has an 91 accord part out and the belt there seem to working fine but i don't want to swap and the same thing happen cause mine is also still working when test...

    i don't know..you guys can tell me?
    any idea would be nice.......thanks

    maybe a loose connection somewhere or a faulty ground around the seat ?? i dunno that is what came to mind for me !

      yes...thats what i thought too...
      but the other prombem is that if i just connect the power to the belt(motor) the belt does move back...if it roll back than thats where it stay unless power is run on it again...
      like example;
      if there is power on it but when i open door it doesn't move back like normal..
      -thats why i was thinking a sensor? relay? is there such thing?

        the answer to your problem might be under your passenger seat..

              i think there is a control box for the seatbelts under the passenger seat.. hmm forgot about that.

                your problem is definately the control module found under your passenger seat. Slide your passenger seat all the way foward, and from your back seat, look under the passenger seat. There is a black plastic cover that hides it, but it just lifts up. There's one bolt holding that box down. Take the seat out to find it. Replace that box, and you'll be set. Mine was bad, picked one up at junk yard for $15. I would almost put money on that box being your problem. Let me know what you find.
