    Freaky Oil Leak

    I got a oil leak somewhere above my oil filter. It "sprays" oil out on to my downpipe and causes my car to smoke... weird thing is it only happens when I get on my car. I pulled my oil filter to look and I purchaced a oil filter and oil pressure sensor but I couldnt find the oil pressure sensor on the back of the motor to replace it. Anyone have a picture or diagram of where the pressure sensor is or a picture of one they pulled so I know Im looking for the correct part.

    Then one I purchased had a treaded end and a end that connects to a rubber line but I didnt see anything like that when I was under my car with the oil filter off. Maybe I missed it or something or I was sold another part that doesnt fit my car.... fhkin partsamerica

    This is the part I have... is this correct? Its this or the headgasket leaking right? It only leaks when I am mean to her... but she likes it when Im mean so... its a catch 22 i guess.
    I cant Slam further. The ground refuses to get any lower.

    Yes thats the right part. Its about 3 inches about the oil filter, you have to have the filter off to get to it. Its got one wire running to it and is covered by a big rubber boot. Usually the boot is rock hard and you'll have to break it off to get the sensor out then I think its a 24mm socket. Don't worry about the boot it aint needed.       does your car have an oil filter cooler (I think that's what it is called)

          oil cooler ........it has the same gasket a oil filter has ....it will get hard and britle have seen this many time take it off get a cheap oil filter take the gasket off of it and put it on the oil cooler ....just a thought
