so i have an axleback magnaflow on my car... i have a modded air box, and i need to get rid of the raspiness of the car heard from outside. i have had the resonator replaced due to it rusting, and i am wondering what i can do to give my car a lower tone, and make it much quieter without losing too much power. any thoughts? i don't want to spend that much money...

i went through this, if you have a DC sport header, put the OEM A4 manifold back on, and if you have a straight pipe, put the OEM cat. conv. back on. thats the only way. My car sounded perfect w/ just an exhaust (catback) and intake (CAI)

Get a bigger resonator. I have a magnaflow muffler with a 22" magnaflow resonator and I have no raspiness, even when I had my header on.Originally posted by sweet91accordif aredy time i need to put something in cb7tuner. you guy need to me a smart ass about and bust on my spelling, gramar and shit like that in so sorry.
