it's been happening on and off, but today it's been happening almost all day, even after i let the car sit for a while. at an idle, i can feel the car vibrate much more then usual, and then when i take off from a stand, it will bog out, sort of lag and shudder a little, and accelerate slow until maybe 1,500-2,000RPM (so from idling at 700RPM, it will lag until it reaches 1,500RPM) and then it will take off normally. kind of feels like something is clogged, or not getting to where it's supposed to be. i had the worst case of this bogging when i was going up a hill. i couldn't get the car over 2,000RPM without flooring it and jumping the RPM's way up. does this sound like a vacuum issue, or possibly ignition?

Automatic I am assuming.....
flush the tranny and replace with Honda fluid, do a tune up, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air cleaner, cap rotor plugs and wires....
Your cb probably needs the tlc anyways....
then let us know what happens.... Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to run some seafoam through your brake booster line either

tune up has been done already over the summer, as was a can of seafoam through the fuel tank and brake boosterLast edited by eriemoto.; 10-06-2007, 07:49 AM.

check the egr and egr ports. <<<< the symptoms for the egr ports are that it will bog down the engine around 1500rpm to 1700 rpm then it will drive fine.
i completely cleaned the egr ports the past summer. i had that bog too before i cleaned them. egr bogging happens more-so between 2,500-3,000RPM

i had similar problems with this before and on other cars. its all about the fuel.
then again mine went through 4 sets before it stopped blowing them..
and i said loose connection... so where blowing it came from..
if it's fuel related it is prolly a verry simple fix.
sounds almost like a sensor is gone bad"Self Renewed"
