What do all of the codes stand for???
We all know that every car has a codes all over the place. However, do we know what they stand for? Well...since you all own CB7's...you're in luck!

Country: US specs. There are also Canadian codes in this manual. I'll get those up eventually.

*VIN*
The first 3 "letters" mean if your car was made in Japan or America.
JHM - Japanese made
1HG - American made
The next 3 "letters" are the chassis code.
CB7 - Coupe / Sedan
CB9 - Wagon
The number after your chassis code is the body and transmission type.
1: 2 door and 5 speed manual
2: 2 door, 4 speed auto
5: 4 door and 5 speed manual
6: 4 door, 4 speed auto
7: 5 door, 5 speed manual
8: 5 door, 4 speed auto
The number after that is what your model is.
4 is DX
5 is LX
7 is EX
8 is SE
The next "letter" is a check code.
...I have no idea what that means...but mine is 0.
The letter after that is the year it was made.
P: 1993...I don't know what the other years are.
The letter after that means what factory it was assembled at.
A - Marysville, OH
C - Saitama, Japan
L - East Liberty, OH
Anything after that is the serial code.

The first 5 "letters" are the engine type.
F22A1 is the single intake and exhaust manifold style, found on DX and LX.
F22A6 has a dual intake and exhaust manifold style, found on EX and SE.
After that there is a dash and then 3 more letters. The next 3 is the engine supply/car assembly.

410 - JP/USA | California
420 - USA/USA|California
430 - JP/JP| 49states
435 - JP/USA|49 states
450 - US/US|49 states.

300 - JP/JP|California
320 - US/US|California
330 - JP/JP|49 states
335 - JP/USA|49 states
350 - USA/USA|49 states.
Anything after that is the serial number.

MPXA - auto (any chassis/model).

H2U4 - USA (8000001)
H2U5 - USA (8000001), H2U5 - JP (4000001)
MPXA - N/A (4000001).

You can find these on your drivers side door (front door on coupes, rear door on sedans and wagons)...or...you can just look at the color of your car...lol.
